Coherent Design was tasked with refreshing the audiovisual and control systems at The William S. Boyd School of Law at The University of Nevada Las Vegas. The refresh was a complete overhaul of nine classrooms as well as conference and meeting rooms for this ten year old facility. Coherent utilized a centralized digital media platform delivering multiple HDTV streams to each room in the facility. Projectors, flat panel displays, and a sophisticated control system allow professors to easily present video to students from various sources including document cameras, laptops, stored video, lecture capture, and high definition cameras. Large teaching stations with integrated height control as well as ergonomic displays make teaching with the use of high technology quite simple. The lecture capture system allows students to review past lectures by logging on to the Law School site to view and listen to past classes.
