The Smith Center a world class performing arts center located in Las Vegas, NV opened it’s doors in March of 2012. Coherent Design’s David Starck served as lead engineer for the audio and video systems for this magnificent project. The cornerstone of the project is the 2,050 seat Reynolds Hall. Reynolds Hall includes a dramatic stage and a full orchestra pit capable of seating up to 100 musicians. Reynolds Hall has a state of the art sound system capable of handling the performance needs of Broadway shows, headliners, and most special events. The Smith Center campus is rounded out by the Cabaret Jazz venue with commanding views of Symphony Park. It is a wonderful venue for jazz, cabaret, and other performances best seen and heard in an intimate setting. The 250-seat Troesh Studio Theater was developed for rehearsals, children’s theater, and community events. The Center’s resident companies include the Las Vegas Philharmonic and Nevada Ballet Theatre. Neil Patrick Harris, Willie Nelson, Jennifer Hudson, and Carol King were just some of the performers included in the opening night gala celebration.
